The Young Lewisham Project supports young people to become active citizens, take self-responsibility, to learn about the local community, how to improve their our own surroundings and to link with other provision within the borough.

The Young Lewisham Project is a referral organisation that works with young people who have been referred to us after facing a variety of challenges in their lives. We are an alternative education provider that delivers programmes in motor bike maintenance, carpentry, life skills and a variety of other programmes aimed at give young people a second chance and equipping them to make positive life choices.

Tasks/Duties Involved

If you are passionate about changing the lives of young people and committed to giving them a better future, then this could be the perfect opportunity to help. The position would suit anyone with previous administration experience with the ability to commit to approximately 4 hours a week.

Duties will include a variety of admin responsibilities from record keeping to nagging staff for feedback forms and filing. However, our initial requirement is to help us gather and collate the evidence required to attain the London Youth Quality Mark. This will involve an extensive internal audit of our processes and give the candidate a through and in-depth understanding of what we do and how we do.
