Purpose/Objective of the Role
LWM is a free multi-layered map for health/care workers and the Public in Lewisham, which shows where to go locally for health and wellbeing provision. There are hundreds of places already marked, and it is currently being trialled with groups of ‘link workers’ in health and care services across the borough. We aim to accelerate wider distribution of this map through the community to help empower those most in health need.
We need to make the map look and work better so that we can make this a truly useful map for the people of Lewisham
Either or both of the following:
Collecting information about places relevant to the map online and entering and summarising it accurately and comprehensibly. If appropriate, contacting providers, probably by phone, to confirm details.
Going around on foot collecting and validating information about places relevant to wellbeing and entering it accurately and comprehensibly.
Enthusiasm for constructing better ‘signposting’ for those in most health and wellbeing need, and those who help them
An inquisitive nature and attention to detail
The founder and developer of LWM will instruct and be on call to show how to add to and improve the map and, if necessary provide technical advice.
