Organisation

The AHOY Centre is a registered charity based in DeptfordLondon that helps disadvantaged children and people with disabilities to become involved in watersports and to gain certifications of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in activities such as sailing, powerboating and first aid.[1][2] It has been identified as a major cultural project by the Greater London Authority.[3]

Purpose/Objective of the Role

This is an on-water volunteer opportunity to guide and steer our Thames Waterman Cutter Rowing boats.

Tasks/Duties Involved

In house training will be provided for this opportunity however we do then ask for a minimum commitment of 3 rowing events a year.
