Voluntary Services Lewisham (VSL), is an independent charity founded in 1969.  Although the charity was originally set up to deliver services supporting people living in the Forest Hill & Sydenham area, the organisation has developed in recent years and some services are now Lewisham Borough wide.

Purpose/Objective of the Role

Volunteer drivers will deliver hampers to families and on Christmas day drive people to the Church for Christmas Lunch. A Christmas Day lunch is organised and held in a local church. We receive referrals for the attendees from Social Services, other Charities, Churches and NHS teams to name but a few.

Tasks/Duties Involved

We are looking for driving volunteers who would be able to:

  1. Deliver out hampers.
  2. Collect attendees for Christmas Day lunch and take them back home.

Skills Required 

Clean driving licence.

Training/Support Given

Induction given. You will be volunteering in a team of people.
