We would ideally like a volunteer to work with us for 8 to 12 hours per month and the group meet monthly on a Monday afternoon from 11.30 am, but we can be flexible to suit your schedule.


We’re the UK’s Parkinson’s support and research charity. Because we’re here, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone.  We provide ground-breaking research, expert information, friendship, support, campaigning and fundraising to find a cure, and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s

Purpose/Objective of the Role

As a local fundraising volunteer, you will coordinate local activities and raise funds in support of Parkinson’s UK’s work to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s

Tasks/Duties Involved

  • Organising fundraising events and activities
  • Developing ideas to bring each event to life
  • Researching new fundraising opportunities

Skills Required 

In order to fulfil this role, you will be:

  • a reliable and honest approach
  • good organisational and IT skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
